This is a close-up photograph of a hydrangea flower head, known locally in the Philippines as milflores (a thousand flowers). The cluster features a mix of delicate flowers in various stages of bloom. The larger, more prominent flowers have four petals and are a pale, light blue colour, fading to creamy white at their centres. Nestled in the middle of the cluster are smaller, unopened buds with a yellowish-green tint. The entire flower head is surrounded by the plant's large, textured green leaves with serrated edges.
